When I hear contest, my ears perk. I love still life painting and photography. I hope you enjoy these as much as I enjoyed creating them.

I am an avid fan of Nature and Flower Pictures. I've also included two photos of paintings I've created from flower pictures taken by Sally, owner of this site.

Who is Dodie McCandless?

If you visit Dodie's home you might find yourself lost in a world of beautiful creations. Dodie is the mother of three beautiful children. And every member of the family, including Dad, have a talent in some creative field.

Dodie's love of art began at an early age. So it was only natural that she go from High School to Art School. She graduated from the Pittsburgh Art Institute and soon went to work for the Norman Rockwell Company.

Following her passion, Dodie loves Portrait work. But her zest for life doesn't stop there. With the kids growing up and living their own lives, Dodie decided to expand her career.

She took the online course offered by the Art Institute in Graphic Design. Now she finds beauty to enhance in the digital world too.

I'm not sure when she finds the time, but I'll bet she will gladly show you around her gardens too.
