Hi Everyone; This is Sally, owner of Nature & Flower Pictures and I just wanted to say thank you for posting and making suggestions on these pictures.

It looks like "Silver Queen Shrub" may not be the proper name for this plant after all. Thanks to Debbie's suggestion that it looks like Solomon's Seal.

As Faye says, if we were having a contest Solomon's Seal may very well be the winner. It certainly looks like.

Once the flowers arrive we will have the rest of the story. Faye has published another page called Hostas and Sun.

She may well have discovered the secret to changing a plant's nature and preferences.

I looked at pictures of Solomon's Seal and, by golly, I think you are right. Although some pictures varied in coloring, there was one that appeared right on!

I am looking forward to the flowers appearing. It shouldn't be much longer.

Thank you for stopping by and I hope you will visit again! I hope to post pictures of 'her' flowers and berries.

I think we will have to change the name. lol

The plant does produce flowers but I have not personally seen them. I plan to take pictures this year if it does it's thing again.

Solomon's Seal?

It looks like Solomon's Seal... If it gets white, fragrant bell shaped flowers, that's my bet. It likes shaded woodland areas, and looks about full size there :)
