Finding Sally's
"Guide to Selling Art Online" was a really serendipitous blessing. I knew I wanted to pursue my passion but wasn't sure exactly how to go about it. This great little guide got me started on a journey that I am really happy to be on.
A few years ago, my husband and I purchased a high end point and shoot digital camera. Once I got the hang of this nifty new camera, I started to click away in our backyard and found myself loving the images and sharing them with friends and family. I got a lot of positive feedback. I've always been artistic and enjoyed many creative outlets, but I didn't realize I would love photography so much.
During this time, I had a health setback that forced me to leave my job permanently. This allowed me to look at life and evaluate the many possibilities that were unfolding, and provided the space in which to pursue this talent that was awakening.
I've been hooked on photography ever since. I now have a few online galleries of cards, prints and posters that I am very proud of, and I have plans for many more projects related to photography and sharing my passions with the world. This hobby has become my life's work, and is an ongoing, ever-changing process. I am self-taught, learning everything about photography from hours and hours of taking pictures, reading books, doing research on the internet, and following photo editing video tutorials.
Selling your art online takes a lot of work and dedication, but is well worth the effort. If you're passionate about it, it won't feel like work at all. Sally's book,
Guide to Selling Art Online, got me started on this great ride and I recommend it to anyone who wants to sell art or photography online.

Hi Debbie;
I wanted to say thank you for this wonderful article. This has got to be an author's dream come true.
I visited your sites and your work is truly awesome. Thank you too for sharing the bleeding heart image with us. Little did you know that this flower is one of my favorites. Of course, you might hear me say that about almost any flower, really.
It is wonderful to know that you were able to read my book and put it to great use.
To your great success,
Sally
