A quiet walk in an English rose garden can be most enchantng. You find yourself floating away on the lovely soft fragrance of each rose. One more beautiful than before. The first page of roses you can enjoy a collection of rosebuds. Rosebuds may be the most popular form of a rose. The small delecate bud of a rose has so much detail to offer. Each petal rolled into a tiny bud that unfolds gracefully into full blossoms. A rose is truly the most beautiful flower to enjoy through every stage of it's growth. To keep your favorite cut roses fresh I heard you can drop an aspiren in the bottom of your vase. If you like dried flowers try hanging your rose upside down till it dries.

Red roses are probably the most commonly given as a sign of love. Red roses carry with them a history of romance. This color is really popular around valentines day. I wonder if the red rose is so widely used because of it's resemblance to the heart? If you love red roses for whatever reason, you will not want to miss this page of rose images.

The rose of sharon, though not really a rose, fits here by name alone. Though none of our rose pictures have thorns, the rose of sharon can truly be called a thornless rose. This rose got it's name from biblical times. Call it what you will the flower is beautiful to look at.

Pictures of white roses will have you thinking of white lace and promises. Well maybe. White roses are like little pillows floating in your garden. The rosebud nestled with this white rose kind of reminds me of angel wings wrapped around us.

Blue colored roses speak of mystery and surprise. This page will take you to a page of posters featuring this beautiful photo manipulated blue rose. This is digital art in grand style. If only roses grew this blue. The original photograph was of a yellow rose. Come enjoy the fantasy.

Dew on this white rose was a double surprise. I didn't have my glasses with me the morning I took this last picture in the row. So it was a pleasant surprise to get home and find dew on the white rose and it's leaves. With just a little photo enhancement this beautiful rose makes a wonderful addition to any wall.

Yellow, Red and Orange Pictures of Roses

This beautiful yellow rose has a natural pink tone outline. The photo was taken while visiting a friends rose garden.

Now this red rose image is a larger size. You could probably use any of the rose pictures in these two rows as desktop wallpaper but they may end up a little blurry. That depends on your monitor size. This red rose, however, is a generous size of 1500x1125 making it a perfect size for the larger screens.

The last rose in this group is a beautiful orange rose. Many of the rose pictures in this section were taken in California in the month of October. Now here in Illinois seeing a rose growing in mid to late Octobor is rare. Although I have seen a few, most roses are finished for the season by mid September and we are all getting ready for fall.
