Giant Poppy in Flower Garden

Isn't it awesome the way some flowers just seem to bring your garden to life. Take this Giant Poppy flower for instance.

They only bloom for a day or two but when they do they fill the entire garden with bright color. This is definitely the hi-light of my garden every spring.

I've heard that poppies come in a variety of shades and sizes. Some will bloom during summer while others, like mine only bloom for a short time in mid summer.
