Have you ever noticed that the simple act of thinking can bring the object of your thoughts into your awareness? I think they talk of something like that in the movie "The Secrete."
And within seconds I spotted a frog out of the corner of my eye. This is the one in the first picture. As you can see he is pretty well hidden by the reeds of the lake. I was in my receptive soft focus stage when I spotted this frog. Trying to retrace my steps later, I have no idea how I saw this frog from the path.
There is certainly no question where the term croaking came from. They sound almost like the cartoons your kids watch.
When the water is low it is easy to spot frogs. I don't remember seeing so many when I was little. But then I was your typical little girl who really relates to the song lyrics, "I don't like spiders and snakes." And frogs fell into that "yuk!" category.
Now as an adult I can appreciate the amazing design by nature. Everything in nature holds a spirit of art, don't you think?
