Below see the three pictures used to create this flower art. These are the pictures I used to create collage above:
The log picture was taken at River Walk in Naperville, Illinois. When I saw this hollow tree trunk growing out of the oak, my imagination went to work. I had the picture of something growing in the center. It is fun to help nature along and get those creative juices flowing.
The flower is a clipart created from the picture of this Cinquefoil picture was taken at Herrick Lake, Wheaton IL. Clicking on the thumbnail will take you to the larger picture.
Have fun with this and see what you can come up with.
You can use these same methods to create your own flower art. I would love to see and display some of your creations.
Painted Daisy Here is another simple creation that looks like a painted flower. I took the picture of a yellow shasta daisy taken at Morton Arboretum and adjusted the brightness and contrast to get the picture you see on the bottom. The picture on the right is the original picture taken at the park.
The picture on the top is flipped and takes on a surreal effect. Set this picture as your computer background and it is like having the sun to meditate on. You can create the same effect with any photo editing software. Use the brightness and contrast adjustments to create the effect you are seeking. I created this effect by moving the brightness level all the way to the left (darkest setting) and the contrast level all the way to the right (highest contrast level). The result was too good to ignore.
