Field Lilies Pictures Nature's Garden at Her Best

What are field lilies? You know every year you will find these beautiful lilies all along the highways.  They also grow throughout the forest preserves here in Illinois.

They have always been a favorite of mine to get pictures of lilies.  And many people grow them in their own gardens.  My sister has several.

Some of the pictures from our guest section came from that garden.  My niece Katie has a wonderful talent for taking self portraits with lilies as the focus of the picture.

Katie used Paint program for these shots But every photo editing software comes with different effects.  One of my favorites to use is MGI photo suite.  I also like using Serif photo software though with Serif there are limits to what you can do
