Field Lily in Bright Sunlight

Although field lilies can be seen along roadsides and parks all across the United States, they also do well in gardens everywhere. So do we still call them field lilies when they are grown and cultivated at home?

These flowers actually have many common names. They are also known as:

Orange Daylily, Tawny Daylily, Tiger Daylily, Ditch Daylily.

Many people choose these lilies for their garden because they are so easy to grow. Yet some people regret planting them because they may well overtake the garden completely.
