This first picture was taken by my sister in WV last year at halloween. I wonder how the kids got on the porch for trick-or-treating?

Now here is an idea.  This cute little pumpkin planter was on display at the Arboretum in Illinois.  He looks a little like Pinochio with that long nose.

Then right behind the planter pumpkin nestled these three gourds.  The pumpkin takes first prize for being the biggest.

Anywhere you walk in most neighborhoods you see someone with a new decoration. Right around the end of August the autumn pumpkin start coming out.

First here we have the perfect combination of cornstalks and pumpkins.  Bright orange pumpkins are a favorite decoration.

This scarecrow looks like he has quite a load carrying pumpkin and fall flowers.  They make an excellent yard deration.

And last in the row is quite a gourdy arrangement.  Autumn flowers are sometimes brighter and more sturdy than the summer flowers they follow.

Here we have an interesting set of pumpkin pictures.  First is a white mini pumpkin.  Judging by it's shape I would have to say it is a gourd.  But it certainly has the pumpkin shape.

Next I took a small basket and put three small gourds in it to create this photograph.  They are a harvest delight for the senses.

The person who lives here brings their home alive with pumpkin and cornstalks.  Very bright and friendly.
