Aster Flowers or Composite Flower Pictures

Asters are pretty fascinating as wildflowers go. They put on quite a show around the beginning of July here in Illinois and last well into September. This year I even saw them growing into early October.

I believe the thing that makes them stand out most is the many petals they have. They are a beautiful fancy flower worthy of cutting for an arrangement on the dining room table.
